Both gins were created in collaboration with the private distillery "Maennerhobby Destille" from Klein Kussewitz (Rostock district) and our hosts at Bar Cubanze. From the ingredients to the label design to the bottle shape and cork selection, this was produced - after many tastings - from: juniper, black pepper, cloves, cocoa, turmeric, tonka bean, blackberries, apples, sea buckthorn, dune grass & Baltic Sea salt .
The gin takes its name from the 800th anniversary of the town of Brunshaupten and was produced for the first time in the anniversary year 2019.
Awarded a prize! At the World Gin Awards 2021, the "Bar Cubanze Gin Edition 1219" received the bronze award in the "London Dry Gin" category!
The "Appelboom Gin Liqueur" also impresses with aromas of sea buckthorn, dune grass and Baltic Sea salt, but combines these flavours to create a sweet and tart seduction through maceration with local apples.
Both gins, bottles and labelling are made by hand. Whether you enjoy these gin delicacies at our bar or take them home as a holiday souvenir (€38.00 per bottle), enjoyment is guaranteed!
