The Baltic seaside resort of Kühlungsborn, with its beautiful sandy beach and large city forest, is the ideal place to plan a holiday with your dog. Here your dog can let off steam to his heart's content every day of your holiday, swim in the sea, run on the beach and dig in the sand or explore the numerous walking trails.

Your four-legged friends are welcome in certain rooms on request and subject to availability, so advance booking is essential.

We charge 25.00€ per night for your companion (excl. food, incl. food bowl and blanket for the duration of the stay, treats and use of the "Furry Nose SPA" at the main entrance). From a stay of 7 nights the price is reduced to 20.00€ per night, from 14 nights to 15.00€ per night.

Up to a shoulder height of 40 cm max. 2 pets per room, from a shoulder height of 41 cm max. 1 pet per room is allowed.

Of course, your four-legged friends are also here to relax. We would like to give you a few tips and small rules so that all guests can feel comfortable.

• For the perfect start to your holiday - also for your dog - we have packed a small welcome pack. This includes a "Do not disturb" sign with a dog on it. So if you leave your dog alone in the room for a short time, please hang the sign on the door so that our housekeeping team doesn't get scared.
• Your four-legged friend will also find a fluffy blanket and a food bowl in the room. If you like the food bowl, blanket etc., then take a look at our partner's online shop, where you will find all the products you need for your own home.
• Please do not let your furry friend jump around on beds and furniture.
• Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on the hotel grounds.
• Dogs are unfortunately not allowed in our restaurants - except in the Wiener Café and at the Cubanze bar. This also applies to breakfast, but if the weather is fine, you can take your four-legged friend to breakfast on the Fulgen terrace. If the weather does not play along, there is the option of room service breakfast.
• It goes without saying that for the really important business, you should go outside and leave the hotel grounds.

Kühlungsborn is very dog-friendly.

• At the beach sections: Gemarkung to 1, 12 - 13, 25 - 27 and 28 to Mühlenbach, your dog can let off steam "free snout". One of these dog beaches is located in the west towards Rerik, another is very central near the city forest by the concert garden and the third is east of the marina. The latter is unspoilt, while the first two offer more comfort for dog owners with beach chair hire, catering establishments and other tourist facilities.
• In the low season (1 November to 30 April), dogs are allowed on all sections of the beach.
• The 133-hectare municipal forest adjacent to our hotel is ideal for walking your dog.
• When you return to the hotel, you are welcome to stop by our doggie SPA. It is located to the right of the main entrance. There you will find all kinds of ways to free your dog from sand.
